Last day in the hospital with a tenetive diagnosis of viral bone infection in my chest. I was done last night but the specialist didn't show up until 8:00 pm and my doc leaves at 5:00. So yeah. And I had theater tickets. Pft.
I should have taken pictures of my IV lines. One in the bend in my arm and one in my wrist. It was pretty cool. And Good ( Read more... ) -
Doctors play games to look like they know what they're doing
OK. I do not have a blood clot. Five minutes into the Heprin drip I'm told it's cellulitis instead.
Oh yeah, and you have a white count of 24000. And a UTI. Surprise!
This morning I'm on my second round of killer antibiotics: Vancomyacin and something else that burns the vein so they mix it with saline. BUT!

So that chest pain? Blood clot in my lung. I'm laid up at the hospital until tomorrow. Yuck.

Muscle spasms, overdoses and vomitting oh my!
So I woke up Tuesday with a crick in my neck. It progressed Into a pulled muscle that started behind my ear and wrapped around to the front of my throat making swallowing difficult.
