Ode to Bacon

Mar 07, 2006 18:27

Oh Bacon how I love thee
almost more than I love sweet tea

I love to eat thee all the time
Sometimes I wish you would be all mine

Oh Bacon how I love thee
My prince charming won't you be?

(Ok I can't think of any more rhymes..my head hurts..That entry was for Leanne and Sandy and Emily who thought I wouldn't make an entry about an ode to bacon)

With no references to the actual digestive process or solid waste, at best I can only give this poem a C-

Said in a perfect Dr. Wehrs' accent:

"Amber, I just feel that your pursuit of the idea of bacon was not as clearly laid out as I would have liked. Jane Austen had several things to say on the subject, and I feel that the Clintons could have been used as well."
