I haven't said anything about the dead of E Gary Gygax although it made me slightly sad to hear of his passing. It didn't affect as strongly as when I heard about Dr. Seuss or Jim Henson, but it made me pause and recognize that he had an impact on my life ( Read more... ) -

We tell our kids that ‘please’ is the magic word, but I’ve found that in business the magic phrase is ‘I need that or I can’t process your invoice for payment.’ Works every time.

Well, I got voted out of LJ Idol last week. I'm a little disappointed, of course, but I had told myself I'd be happy if I made it into the top 100, which I did. Then I said I wannt to make it into the top 50%, which I did. So, all in all, I count the experience as a positive ( Read more... ) -
