I had a very insightful realisation yesterday.
Apparently, there are several stages of obsession whenever a new fandom threatens to take over my life.
This is very helpful. It helps me identify potential threats at an early stage and allows me take appropriate counter measures.

Also, I think this description is ought to make it into a case book on obsession... most certainly, the symptoms are generally far from atypical. "That too" was probably my most frequently recurring thought while reading. :D
Oh, and the toilet. And the showers. They are dangerous things and water clearly is connected to the rapid multiplication of brain-eating fandom monsters.

Oh? So everyone goes through these phases? I am relieved I'm not the only one. What frightens me, though, is the fact that I can tell. And still, I'm helpless and will happily plunge into every fandom that looks even remotely interesting. I NEED HALP.
I'm surprised my brain hasn't exploded yet.
LOL Oooooh, I've had my best fic ideas in the shower.
