I see different crucifixes and I sometimes try to look at the face of the represented Jesus Christ on them. I try to visualize what God actually went through. As much as I'd like to do the survey that takes a while, I need to go to sleep. I work with kids. Kids are so awesome and somehow they manage to just make me smile. You can't insert God's grace into your heart by yourself. I've been trying to be in charge of the praying, and that just doesn't work. That's all I can do is to open my heart as much as possible and choose to accept, love, and cherish all that has been given to me. Be honest and true in prayer, be excited!

It seems that excuses have become a part of my recent life. I'm either too tired or sick. It is hard to pray while I'm sick, and it's difficult to pray when you know that you'll be really tired and not as into it as when you're awake and joyful to pray. Today was Confirmation and pentecost. I began to start tearing up in Mass a couple of times. It was beautiful. Chris Ray is my Confirmation sponsor, and he gave me a golden crucifix that was given to him. I meant and means a lot to me, so a big thanks to Chris! I was hanging out with the kids at STS on the playground, and it turns out that they wanted someone to help after school. This is cool because I love hanging out with the kids and I get another 14 hours a week.
