I woke up with a bitter taste in my mouth.
Like ash and dissapointment and the sound a glass makes when it breaks on the kitchen floor.
It must be my insides.
I know they've been this way for awhile.
I guess I thought my body would come up with a more creative way to manifest it,
rather than falling back on morning breath.
