I'm teaching the filmscript for the movie DRIVE and someone posted about the song Drive by Haley. So I went and found it. Now it might as well be my personal anthem. Except that my life with my partner is great.
I just hate southern California.
Would make a great inspiration for Sam and Dean in the Impala, though. -
Summer of Travel
My Summer of Travel is finally over. I've been to a writer's workshop without air conditioning or wifi in North Carolina in June, a trip to Paris (lifelong dream!) in July, and two weeks teaching an intensive course these last two weeks again without air conditioning (sorry for the gap in posting to anyone who was following Atonement ( Read more... ) -
Atonement Part Eleven
It’s four days before they’re ready to go back into the Darkness and by that time there are more places covered in the same blankness.

Dean is not surprised when Sam finds files on his laptop where he had been cataloguing the contents of the Men of Letter’s library and that, combined with their card index, allows him to find some books that might have a location spell. Even without his memory he’s still smart.
