So I decided not to go to the Ska show afterall...I thought that I might regret it,but I don't. The fact is that they actually have been here more than once and therefore I'm sure that they will return again sometime

Ahh yes!! That was awful wasn't it!? I dug out all the classic albums not too long ago...like the first albums of Blur, The Charlatans, Happy Mondays, Ride, and esp. The La's...their self titled is a classic album. We have a lot more in common then I thought... hehe

haha i used to love all of that stuff, inspiral carpets, blur i got the first one when it first came out, happy mondays hah its been a while since i heard them. i also like ocean colour scene and suede, i need to go buy all the stuff i used to have on cassetes. the charlatans were one of my favs, i also really like the stone roses, and trashcan sinatras. i remember a few other bands i liked but i forget the names. too ban you dont live clos we could hang out at the britpop club here, none of my friends want to go haha they are afraid to lose skinhead points i guess

skinhead or not...I love it! I am a fan of Stone Roses. I've got an Inspiral Carpets cassette hiding somewhere lol and yeah Suede were great as well.
Yeah...a britpop club sounds good. I'd certainly go to that.
I'm not sure if you got into this as well, but I was into the shoegazing music as well....ie Slowdive, Lush, Chapterhouse, Ride etc.

go figure..it's my birthday and everyone else gets drunker than me.

i had fun though. bowling was a blast even though i SUCK at it..and the drum was good times too.
the music in there was totally great last night.
