Finally I can breathe easy again... well almost, I am about to hand in a major piece of coursework and do a thesis defense on it. I had 7 pieces of course due in this week, and after constant working of the last couple of weeks I finally feel slightly relaxed. Today has been terrible. I couldn't sleep until 4am and once I was in bed I woke up at 5am, shivering freezing cold and couldn't get warm. I ended being sick twice before 8am. Therefore I didn't go to class. I still feel horrible, I have a a stabbing headaches but it's starting to go away.

Ugh.

I am so exhausted, things are so hard at the moment. Everything seems to be happening at the same time and everyone seems to be pissing me off apart from the boy. I see him in my only spare time when I could be doing work but if I don't see him things would be so much worse. God I sound so emo tonight.

Sometimes I think the boy and I have completely different pasts. He has been able to only have a few partners and relationships, whereas I, well, it's been quite the opposite. While I have never kept this from him, I think it makes him look down on me somewhat. He's never voiced this, nor made any indication he thinks this way, it is just my own ( Read more... )

I found out last week that my Step-Mom had breast cancer and has had a mastectomy. They have known for weeks and they only told me after she had had the surgery. I was shaken when I found out, but breast cancer has a high success rate, so fingers crossed. They will find out tomorrow if they were able to remove it all. I know I've only been here two weeks but I miss home and my friends. It's weird, I'm actually not that far away from them but at the same time I'm really far away. So, I'm a little homesick.
