Sometimes I wish my parents would have been more responsible in their younger years so I wouldn't have to bear the burdeon of my wedding alone. I do not fault them for it. But it just sucks now that I am in the position I am in. I want certain things and have sacrificed others. And I have still spent a huge chunk of change. I should be saving it ( Read more... ) -

I decided to do the wedding on my own thinking it was going to save me money. And it is going too but it is discouraging to have to continuously write large checks. We have money saved but I just keep seeing that number shrink along with the dream of a big chunk for a house. I want a wedding. A nice one. Not one over the top. Day 3 of my pre wedding bootcamp. I hurt all over.
I really let my fitness laps over the last few months. I have run/walked just under 12 miles in 3 days. My goodness. I know in the grand sceem of things that doesn't seem like much but for someone who is rather sedentary - it is a lot.

12 hours yesterday. 16 hours today. Still here now at 1030 and I have to be back at 7. Yippie!! The things we do and or sacrifice to get what we want. Money. Time off. That's what it all boils down to.
What other job out there affords their employees to do enough time swaps and such as to end up with 6 weeks straight off not usuing and time off ( Read more... ) -

I feel like writing a bunch of stuff to get it off my chest. However I don't feel like doing it all on my iPhone. It takes forever always gets my words wrong and chNges by auto spell when I don't want it to. Grrtr. I have benn pulling outrageous hours at work. Example. Today I am working 3-11a then coming back 7-11pm and then coming back 3-7a again. It is all for the greater good. Have a wedding and house to fundraise for.

I am tired. At work again. 3am! Yuck.
This year flew by. It is already thanksgiving. Joey has already been gone almost 6 months. Crazy. The year will be over before we know it. I guess what they say about time going by fast when you get older is true. I am getting older? No!!!

Had a nice trip. The weather was nice for most of the weekend. Flying went ok, no hiccups. Did have a little bit of turbulence but nothing major ( Read more... ) -

I get anxious when I fly. It doesn't help that I am flying alone on a twin prop or that I was late for check in but the lady at the counter took putty on me. Oh well here we go. It's only fair. He flies here all the time. No reason I can't fly to him occasionally.
