I will start my third and final internship on Monday. And I will be paid. $12/hour. Not bad. I am excited.
I love my classes. I love learning GIS. I love mapping data it is so cool. My other courses are interesting and I am learning so much. I am just content.
Just got to find a job. Should not be too hard.

2005 was the longest year ever.

As you all probably know, I have an insulin pump. This means I have tubing coming out of my stomach region where it is connected, pushing insulin into my body. I am asking for prayers for my grandma. She fell about 2 weeks ago and broke her neck. Tonight she fell again and broke her hip. I suppose this is the beginning of the end. My grandpa died nearly 2 years ago and we all thought she would die shortly after. Any prayers would be appreciated, for her and for my dad who is of course very upset ( Read more... )

I have a bothersome ethical problem. In class we were discussing genetic diseases and testing for them. Amnios are done to do some basic DNA genetic testing to see if the child has down syndrome for example. But now there are even 'better' ways to diagnoses genetic diseases. Next Sunday at the Catedral of the Immacualte Conception they will be having Eucharistic Adoration. Yeah, I know big deal, Catholic Church should have EA. But not this time, it is a big deal because one of 6 monstrances that Pope John Paul teh Great blessed in November 2004 will be used. One was designated for vocations for each continent. BCS bowl games being announced, and it is Ohio State vs Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. GO BUCKEYES!!!! This game is probably going to be better than the National Title Game.
