Lately I've been having hip and lower back pain any time I work out in any fashion (skating, running, yoga, etc). Went to the doctor and the X-Rays were clean, but he was troubled by the pain I've been having and some of the reactions my body gave while he prodded along my spine and hip joint. So, I was ordered to get an MRI. That's been scheduled

Anyways, it just helps with joint pain and alignment in general, and it's been proven- 20 minutes of relaxation a day can actually help the body heal faster and prevent injuries from stress.
Either way I'm sure you're fine and you'll be cracking skulls in no time :)

Anyways as I was saying, we already do yoga! :D A lot of the derby girls find its a great way to work our bodies out after the hard workouts we do other days/at bouts.
<3 Hopefully its just something that needs some TLC and not like a slipped disc!
