It's so hard to say goodbye...

Ziggy didn't make it through the night. Even though i was asleep when he died, i stayed awake with him until 3am before finally having to sleep. In some ways i wish i was there with him all night, but on the other hand, i'm sure he knew that i was there during his last 12 hours.

Aww *hugs* I'm sure he knew you were there for him. When my cat Cousin It was dying, I stayed with him until about 5 am, and he died around 6. I felt bad that I didn't stay the entire time, but I'm also glad I was able to be with him for so long. Ziggy is at peace now, and he was so lucky to have a friend like you, and I'm certain he knew it. =)

*hug* I'm very sorry for you. It's always hard to lose someone you love. But, at seven years old, it's clear he had a longer and undoubtedly happier life than most other members of his species. That means something. =)

Awwwwwwwwwwww. I'm so sorry! I am glad I got to see him just this weekend before he went. I know you took very good care of him, surrounded by many yummy treats and love. *HUGS*
