I just had to share just a bit of my Hoosier tradition. About 12:45 the kids and I will be out in the front yard watch the jets fly do their fly over while listening to the race on the radio.
We just had an aftershock of 4.5 that shook the whole floor. The walls of my cubical were rattling and we could feel the floor moving under our feet. I'm really glad that I prepared the kids for aftershocks or they might have been scared.
40 years ago today Robert F. Kennedy announced Martin Luther King's death here in Indianapolis. There is a memorial at the site of the speech. My mother always says that my birth was the only good thing that happened in a terrible year. Let's hope that someday we will all be able to live together.
