I hate Easter

Warning: Rant about religion. I know this does not apply to everyone religious. But it makes me angry, and it hurts people, whether it's how any individual uses this or not.

I so very much hear you on this subject. Being from a deeply fundamentalist part of the South, I was raised among people suffering in very much the same way. I hope writing this (to be honest, brilliant) piece gives you some relief. I wonder if my strong attraction to Judaism isn't partly because of the strife I saw growing up. I understand and respect your anger.

I think it's very fine writing. You make your points cogently, and offer a vivid description of how it's affected you. Very fine writing indeed.
