My weekend visit in Boston was such a great time.. a bunch of St. Mary's friends came to visit the lovely hostess Verm who makes great sweet potatoes and gives us back massages and gives us great health tips. okay, had to update you all on the fact that a big brown goat is looking at me through the glass doors of the office! they are raising goats next door and one just came right up to the door and is sort of butting his horns on it, and fogging up the glass with his breath! i wonder if I open the door if he'll come in..

Ro came for a fun visit this weekend... Saturday was endlessly rainy so we went to Target and H&M, then we saw "Bend It Like Beckmam" which was very sweet and entertaining-- lots of laugh out loud moments, and I thought the main actress was very natural and real. This is national keep your T.V. off week.. E. and I have been very good so far. I usually turn the Food Network on while I'm making dinner and then somehow it just stays on which is terrible.
This is definitely making me realize that I watch too much TV.
Even if I justify it by saying that its just background its still
invasive and bad!

Yesterday I played a mini folk fest. at Skidmore College. I got to be all rock star and wear sunglasses on the stage- very Greg Brown. It was a low key event....lovely to be out in the sun!
