I just finished my (looming, heavy-handed and sweat salt crusted) "statement of purpose." It isn't going to last, I know, but I have not felt this good for months.

Was that your magnum opus of a "statement of purpose"? I want to read the luminous, heavy-handed, sweat and salt of it because you know I get off on that kind of thing! ;)

Smart-ass.

Don't tell me that. That means I'll do even more piss-poor. I HATE math, and I'm already dreading the GRE. :( Do you already have your score? Maybe you did better than you think.

well, the analytical writing and verbal portions are fun...masochistic crossword puzzle kind of fun. I truly appreciated the challenge, and did slightly above average (but nothing to go out for drinks with.)

I get along with geometry alright, but the algebra killed me. I studied for about a week beforehand, and I even re-learned a few basic things, which is surprising. Still, it wasn't enough. Basically, the only thing my score expressed was that I possess the motor functions to click the "next page" symbol.

Did not get my writing scores back yet...*hopes*

I sort of took mine in a crunch. Prepare a bit, do the practice tests (um...GRE practice software will NOT work on a Mac, isn't that bullshit?), and try not to drive through a snowstorm on the way...you will be fine! :-)
