I just finished my (looming, heavy-handed and sweat salt crusted) "statement of purpose." It isn't going to last, I know, but I have not felt this good for months.

  I've been hearing an unusual amount of complaints concerning bodily aches and pains, lately.  Students have now hit the wall, people crane their necks and lean toward the holidays; also, the weather seems to bring a lot of drama. 
So I'm putting this out there:

What's creepier than a sonogram?  Here's what:   people who use a sonogram for their facebook picture. 
I make few pledges, but there is one I can make, to those who might inquire about my health via internet:  I will never expose you to pictures of my (or my partner's--in this case, the couple shares the profile picture) under-siege uterus.
