Happy summer, y'all.  Around here it means we've got alternating days of bright sunshine and horrendously permanent socked in fog.  It's ok.  Most of the time.  Until I took an umbrella to work on Wednesday because I actually wasn't sure it wasn't going to rain on me.  That is not so cool.

Ooh, I thought In the Woods was even better than The Likeness, though both are excellent. It was the first one where I kept sort of shaking my head in amazement at what a great book I'd happened to pick up. So excited to hear there'll be a third one!

I wonder what idiot told the lady in the article to give up on teaching an enter a nursing program. She's liable to end up with a second $50,000 degree she can't use.
