why ain't you never going to be catholic? isn't methodism basically catholicism without tradition? this is not a jab at you; i am simply curious.

haha, i wouldn't take it as a jab.

basically the catholic church gives me the creeps. what with all of the praying to mary, no birth control, priest rapists, statues everywhere, chanting about random shit, all of the formalities, well...you get the point.

i like the tradition and formal nature of the methodist service, but i also like that they don't really care who you are or where you come from, they just accept you there to worship. i feel like it's a lot less condescending and a lot more open and liberal.

i could go on for days, but i'll stop here. haha.
