Went on a blind date Friday and it's amazing how the spark of interest can shake off negative energy. It was a pleasant evening with Greek food, indoor rock climbing, Amy's ice cream, and Firefly to end the evening. Last night I met a WOW buddy for the 1st time. Her name is Cat and she's from Michigan. We had been chatting online thru WOW for a little less than a year and is a lot of fun to play with. Here I sit at work making this entry because of a little miscue with Time Warner in getting my phone/internet/cable hooked up this weekend. I tried to go thru the web and set everything up but failed to notice the line where it said someone from TW would be calling to confirm. While they say 'Good things come to those who wait' I prefer to meet it halfway to enjoy the Good things longer. I officially moved back to Austin before the ice storm hit and then spent the next three days at my parents house. Yesterday was my last day at work and the co-workers took me out. We drank for about 3 solid hours and I drank way too much. They got to see a side of me that I usually don't let out and even then I was still holding back. Several came close to being punished. I made my rounds and talked with everyone.
