Andrew Hill died yesterday. One of my favorite jazz pianists. I just saw a recent video of him online, playing with John Hebert and Eric McPherson. Andrew Hill's album "Point of Departure" changed the way that I listen to jazz. That's more than I can say for most musicians ( Read more... )

I just got back from visiting some colleges. Here are my basic impressions:

Today was cool... hung out at Jesse's for a bit, then hung out with some more people over here.

I watched the Pursuit of Happyness tonight. I liked it a lot.

I was listening to Regina Spektor in the car today. I had heard wonderful things about her, and let me tell you, I was in no way

The show tonight went really well. Our set was really fun, Specter rocked, and the Everyday Visuals OWNED.

When I hear Sigur Ros when I'm not intentionally trying to hear Sigur Ros, I get so excited. Their music evokes so many strong emotions.
