Hockey Game Called on Account of Weather
Well, Friday Night was as much of a bust as one can imagine. I arrived at the forum to work, and never really got a customer. The Shea Room was jumping, but the warm, muggy, moist night did nothing for the luxury box attendance, with half of them never being filled. It's Hockey Season!
Life is that much closer to being complete again! After the annual Circus-forced west coast jaunt, the Bruins had their home opener today -- and energetic and exciting 4-1 victory over Tampa Bay. Tim Thomas has once again stood on his head, and the aggressive plays are exciting and clicking pretty well for the young'uns.

At work, we had a quiet day.- Coworker one described a jaunt through the Dover properties where he found A nice solid box in the mud by the side of the river labelled "In Loving Memory... M____ Crematorium" -- after spending 5 minutes trying to break open the box to find the treasure inside

weekend respite...
I must say it's been a very good week. Work was relatively quiet (if you consider a bbq for 2500+ quiet). This weekend is dead (Football has left the building for Georgia!) and I had a private event on my day off that went smashingly and paid quite well. Sunday's the day of rest according to my upbringing. I happily took it at that. Between 7 AM on Friday and 7 PM on Saturday, I put in 27 hours of work, 14 on Friday, a quick "nap" at home, then 13 on Saturday. A lovely day...
In work by 7:30, prep like crazy for the events in the evening before a 1:30 Lobster Boil. The truck didn't leave the dock until 12:50, with cold water and onl half what we needed. Somehow we survived, though the 250 lobsters we cracked left us a mess. The high 80's temp didn't help much, and I changed my coat and shirt after getting back to ( Read more... ) -

I've decided to change things up a bit in my life. Running around with a work schedule that changed everyday, never knowing when I'd get home, or when I'd eat, and completely unable to really schedule anything with others. I quickly found myself being behind on everything, without any focus, and generally wasting what little available time I had ( Read more... ) -
