ART - Merlin Tournament of Champions - The Ritual
Title: Mae'r Defodol (The Ritual)

Summary: A wounded Arthur spies in on a Druidic ritual featuring a painted, naked warlock.
Notes: Druid rituals are done in Welsh (according to show canon, 3x12) and so this piece is in Welsh. English translation is below.

Tidbit of info: The opening is part of the Druid's Prayer.. which I learned is a real thing.

And again in English, because I put a bit of thought into the words, and didn't want it to go to waste, heh heh.
Tidbit of Info: It took ages to get the following looks right - 1) Merlin's glow-y eye, 2) Finger painting, 3)Semen.
I also hit a roadblock and had to ask for many helps to find an alternative for "fap fap fap" lol.

Here is a proof of concept I posted to my team, just to get the idea across and to show what I had in mind:
The paintings on Merlin make reference to ravens, the tree of life, and druidic runes. The painted feathers on his forearms are straight ripped from Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters. When I saw them in concert, this was still a WIP, and I remember going, "I gotta use those!!!"
So when all was said and done, Reincarnation was victorious! Team Canon came in second.
I got a 19 out of possible 20 points. Apparently the third highest total score in the games! I'm very proud now! I didn't think folks would enjoy it THAT much. Fandom sure knows how to stroke an ego. So thanks to all who voted!!
