domestic duties
today, in lieu of my boss being on vacation, i didn't have that much work except at the end of the day of course. sooo i took care of some domestic duties that had been looming in the back ground:

whats with today, today?
its been one of those weeks...things zig when they should be zagging. sangria spilling, dropping of things, misreading, bills coming, work build up has been dominating my week. i've been trying to keep a good outlook on it all - like these weeks happen but they also pass to the good weeks (like last week). what strangely made it all seem a little ( Read more... ) -

everyone needs an intern

that makes you feel good. today i was relieved of my office duties to babysit my boss's kids while she was in town (she lives in ct). what a day - these kids are like 10, 10 and 13 and are great. very mature and easy to talk to about fun things. so i get to this kids house they are visiting and we played badminton for like an hour swam, went to ( Read more... ) -

yesterday i purchased a dvd that was a double disk - mean girls and clueless. how did someone not come up with this sooner! go, set forth and purchase it! -
back to the grind
so i have gotten back into the swing of things, sorta, and have started a new morning ritual for myself. i get up and make my breakfast which must contain fruit and watch the tivoed (so no commercials) first 15 minutes of the daily show and colbert rapport from the night before (and the guests if they are really interesting) and then i have coffee ( Read more... ) -
