I kinda love the sacrifice they're both making in this. Whatever mysterious job/mission Tony's off on must be incredibly important. The want and love is so strong yet they push it back and say their goodbyes at the end. It's gut wrenching too. Hopefully someday they can go off and do whatever together :D

I hope so too! They are so much better together than apart but sometimes you have to do what you have to do for yourself.

Definitely think that you're trying to kill me here. This was beautiful. I wanted to jump in there and ask them what the hell was wrong with them...though I hope that whatever important work Tony is doing will lead him home to Gibbs eventually. But either way this is an exquisite heartwrenching story. Beautifully done.
