Sometimes interests are truly transferred from one person to another and it's legitimate. (For example, I like ragga, and specific things about ragga most probably because I spent so much time with Jesse-- however, this is not to say that I wouldn't have liked ragga [even if maybe not to the extent I do now] if I had never met him in my life).

So sometimes we are too quick to judge, and it actually is someone's interest--just covered up by a mutual interest of another person they are around. Sometimes, however, it is truly and entirely fake.

I dunno which case this is, and am not saying you are wrong (as I have no clue the specifics of the situation you're talking about) I just know that that was a semi-harsh lesson I had to learn about how other people adapt.

Agreed. I do like Ragga as well, and mostly because of Jesse. Or rather, I was introduced to it by Jesse. But that is not what I speak of, so no worries, my dear. :o)
