World Cup starts on Friday and what might be the biggest game of my life so far is on Saturday with the USA playing England and I'm so excited I could pee my pants.
The talk went well yesterday; it seemed very well received and I even made folks laugh which can be difficult in a physics presentation. When I sat down after I was finished, one of the guys leaned over and said, "Good show

I'm giving a talk (a tiny 10 minute talk) to the MN Area Assoc. of Physics Teachers in about 2 hours and while I feel that I'm prepared and ready to go, I still am very very nervous. I don't like doing these things.
She makes awesome mix CDs and puts together great packages that include chocolates and bath goodies the smell great. But most of all, she makes things like this.
This morning I ran for a mile without stopping. This is the first time I've run a mile without a break for walking in, well, ever and I'm super proud of myself. It was my original goal to be able to do that by my birthday....in May. So I've got to come up with another goal to have, maybe two miles.
This is exciting. So far my favorite image has been when Bush and Obama were waiting for the car and you could see their shadows in the doorway talking. They kind of nodded at each other and walked to the car.
This morning on the way to work, I realized that I've worn a red shirt with black pants everyday this week. It's been a different shirt and different pants each day, but the same general feel to my outfits. I don't know what this says about me.
