Friday evening, discovered a few more crocuses had appeared, and hadn't been found by the bunnies quite yet...and the first lungwort blooms.

While I have seen flocks of robins in the vacant field at the end of the block, I've yet to see any make it to my yard. But, as I was downloading my vacation pics just now, I had my camera handy to catch a happy cardinal chirping away at the top of the maple tree. (And Elliot had to see what I was up to.)

Spotted a new flower in the garden over the weekend. Afraid picture quality isn't the best, given the cloudy evening - but tried to give one view of the plant height and leaves, and a closer look at the flower.

Apparently, I threw all the morning glory seeds I had from past years into various planters this year. Today a striped one caught my eye in the maple tree and some giant blue ones on the front porch.
