I'm glad you're enjoying the concept. I thought it might seem a bit trite or tired, or, well, a bit crap. It was just something I really wanted to write. I love the idea of the Chameleon Arch and the way it alters personality as well as biology.

Yes, tomorrow morning, I promise! Chapter 3 is my favourite. Of course, the whole thing's only six chapters long ... but ends with a major cliffhanger for the sequel, which I'm working on as fast as I can!

Not sure about the impending doom part ... well, eventually. But a lot less doom-laden stuff in the meantime. But the icon's still a good idea. I love all your icons. Sooner or later I must get around to making myself some new ones.
