It's been a helluva week. Work has been exhausting and there was a near-historic blizzard on Thursday/Friday. I feel sooooo drained and I have two more days of work before my day off, then it starts all over again on Friday ( Read more... ) -

I just cancelled automatic payments for my LJ paid account. I should have done it last year but I just put it off until it went through. I miss being excited about typing up an LJ post. I tweet and post stuff on facebook, but I don't write anything more substantial than a status update. I should at least write something on my tumblr, but I don't ( Read more... ) -
Obnoxious and disliked
Today I asked a friend of mine a question that would better suit a teenager, "Do your friends like me?" Her response was awesome and didn't hedge, "Some of them don't, they think you're loud."
I believe that "loud" in this case is a nicer way of putting "obnoxious".

I've been reading spoilers for Supernatural 6x20 and 6x22 and I've been freaking out, and I don't think I'll stop until the finale airs. God damnit, this show is going to stomp on my heart just like Angel did, isn't it? I am so stupid for watching a show full of BtVS/AtS alumni! They've all been trained by the master of angst, Joss!

Way hey!
So it's not mono! Apparently it was something bacterial, but not strep. My white blood cell count yesterday was 22,000! The normal count is 3,000-10,000. The nurse practitioner that I saw yesterday called me and she sounded so relieved when I said I was feeling better and that my fever was completely gone. So on the second day of the new semester I got really sick. I had an awful sore throat and I got physically exhausted pretty quickly so I went home early. It got worse the next day. I can barely swallow anything because my throat is so tender and sore. I have to brace myself for the pain everytime I swallow something. I also have a never ending ( Read more... ) -
