Chapter Six

Harry made a light salad for dinner, sensing that John would probably not be up to eating much. When John finally came downstairs, he’d changed into some lighter clothes, and some of the haunted look had left his eyes, although he was still pale.

*Wails incoherently* Noooo! You took my boys away. Err, your boys. *Pouts*. I know that you'll be able to do wonderful things with them now, and that this had to happen eventually. But... but ... but now? This was lovely, though. Loved how you handled the bedroom scene, we got to find out what happened but it wasn't all just there. Great work. And I adored how they decided to open the watches, together. Sweet. I'm excited to see what happens now. I hope the Master's not too mad with the TARDIS! Post more soon.

I know! I'm sorry! I wish it hadn't had to happen. I could've gone on writing scenes with them just being sweet with each other forever.

(And I just love the idea of them being "my boys". Hmmm ...

OK, I'm back!)

Glad you liked the bedroom scene. The flashbacks were written later, when I remembered I didn't want to miss all that out anymore. But anything more explicit wouldn't have fit in with the "period" tone, which was a big relief for me!

Bizarrely, the Master has completely forgiven the TARDIS. Do you believe me?

I'm posting the epilogue/bridge part later today. Oh, and I just thought of the perfect title for the next story! I was having such trouble with that!

Again, brava. :) Oh man, I loved those two characters. They were so adorable and awesome, but I'm really looking forward to the aftermath for The Doctor and The Master.

Thank you!

There will be a short diversion before the finer points of "life in love as humans" is dealt with. But we'll get there, eventually!
