This happened to my friend the same night. The same guy did the exact same thing to a friend who had a DUI ticket - he mocked him in front of everyone and turned us away. I think its bullshit.

but the good thing in your case was... at least you got in - with trouble and embarrasement,yes.. we got mocked out of the doorway, so not only did my friend get mortified, both of us missed the show...

I like the fact that shows are finally coming back to atlanta, but i doubt i'll support them there.

to bad we can't really do anything about that guy.. like stand around and throw rocks at him or something.

hehe

"Claiming that he was a 'military officer' and had every right to shout my personal business to any/everyone he pleased..."

i might be wrong, but isnt the military more or less separate from civilian issues? Only soliders/officers can be arrested by MP's, and even if he was a military officer, he would have had no jurisdiction over a civilian affair like a show...

after having served 5 years on E.O.D. in the Nav, i can say for sure that (a) his being a military officer would have nothing to do w/ the situation "unless" Martial law had been declared.....which i'm about 100% sure that it hasn't. (b) I would think such a thing would be called "Conduct unbecoming an officer". Not to mention every officer i ever met would prolly not be caught dead at such a show, since most of them were ex-frat boys or something close to it.

Unless of course he meant he was a nazi officer....in which case i'm sure he'd think he had the right to do as he pleased.

I think we should all make it known that we're not satisfied w/ how this was handled. I mean, if Amy is getting heckled about getting in.....what are we less prominent (like myself) to expect .....this guy pouring sugar in our gas tanks as he denied us entry to the club ? P-shaw....not on my watch.

this isn't the first icky story I've heard coming from there about the same type of stuff. Some people on Lunar had real problems there when they were hosting various dj's a month or so ago. Several people got kicked out/beat up for what reason no one could figure out. It was posted on their message boards, but I don't really know any of the people involved.
Sad. =/

Yeah, I was thinking that as well but by that point I knew that there was absolutely NO reasoning with that asshole!

There are few things that I hate more than power hungry, short dick, nightstick swingin', tobacco chewing, loud, obnoxious yahoos thinking that they can flex their muscles in front of a few people who don't resembles themselves and get away with it. Good for you for getting in anyway, you should flex those goddess muscles and get his ass fired :)

XOXOXOX
