Not necessarily a new night, but it is on Fridays at Masquerade. Basically, myself and guest djs get together each week with whoever wants to participate. On occasion we'll run special focus nights, ie, the Flux crew are going to do a show and tell on beatmatching later in March. In April I plan to have a special "how to spin vinyl" night.

The format is vaguely rock'n'roll, the djs tending toward the people I've worked with over the years, from goth to deathrock to punk to pop. People can hang out, drink, or tell us how lousy we are. People interested in dj-ing can hang out and we'll begin to offer early slots for newbies. Maybe we'll bring cards or a chessboard. Anyone can bring in requests (it'll have to be somewhat appropriate, of course). My personal goal is to work with other djs on new set lists, formats, etc. and to improve my technique a bit--or at least stay less rusty.
