Ever had a reallly bad day and just wish that you could listen to that perfect song of the moment to put you to sleep?
I've been listening to mine over and over about 4-5 times now on loop.
I live for the 00ntz 00ntz 00ntz, but tonight I cant get Hit Song out of my head.

I found an almost 9 year old B-day card from karyxtian today ( Read more... )

I'm still looking for that perfect song and I hope I never find it.

Barber's Adagio for Strings is the closest it's getting right now.

i have THE version of that (the original conducted by Thomas Schippers, who was probably sleeping with Barber himself...and thomas schippers was one hot hunk btw).

I should make you a cd of german repertoire....youd like that. (read: you better)

God.
The SF scene is so much like the ATL 688 days. In fact, Darren / tjcrowley has started a club and it's called... nocturnia.

I remember going out and seeing all those people [I didn't turn 18 until 1996 so I was only going out to shows before that]. I had a huge crush on Christian Shcreiber and used to talk to him on the phone for hours when I was 16. I remember the first time I actually went swimming after 688. I think that's when I met muffintop and a bunch of other people. Back then you would go 'out' around 11 and not get home until noon or later the next day. At the club until 4:30 or so, go swimming until sunup. Denny's for breakfast, then sometimes we'd go see a movie at the dollar theatre afterward. Wow.

Yeah, I remember having so much more energy back then.
Now I drink all night, go home and pass out.
Everybody is usually to drunk or too tired for post club activites.
I miss the Denny's on Piedmont Circle and big group after club breakfasts.

I know what you mean. Despite the bad, we all had some good fun in that little hole. Cheers.

And one guess as to who that "someone" could be...

A few instances aside, I do wish I could live those days all over again.

It's been so long since I actually looked forward to going out so much that I'd actually bother to get ready early. Sounds silly but I used to really look forward to what trouble the night would have.
