Hot...cold...warm...cold...beautiful...COLD!

Weather and romance should not be so similar...
Too many ...'s in this post.

Shopped until I was broke all day Monday with muffintop, shopped so hard that we didnt even have a chance to make it to Discovery Mills, which I'm told is great ( Read more... )

I hope you are well. The temp changes and the sudden innudation of pollen made me sick. Hope you don't get that way!

That's really groovy that you're workin' at the AHS. That's where I got my first cat.

Thanks, but I'm right there with ya d00d.
At first I thought I was actually getting sick like a cold or flu, but then I started hearing the word pollen left and right and I remembered that it was that time of the year again.

I've been wanting to do volunteer work for a long time, but I've always been afraid I wouldn't be able to handle it.
I'm still not sure if I can.
I've always been extremely sensitive and emotionally about about anything to do with animals.
Wish me luck.

That's the little bugger I got from the AHS. :-D
He's actually requsitioned my lap, keeping me from getting any work done. Of course, I'm sitting here reading LJ, so I can't be getting much work done.

I tried to do volunteer work at the Pensacola animal shelter once, little did I know they killed their animals after a few days. It was awful. That didnt last. good luck.

The Mark eh?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have a hard, emotional time working there.
But I really want to help and give something selflessly to a cause that really deserves it.
I'm sure I'll be bawling the entire time, but I'm hoping to learn something from the experience.
God, I sound like a Christian, ick.

Oh, but yeah about the Mark.
I was gonna stop by the Riv for a bit and then head over to The Mark.
I've got me +4 on the list.
My friend that works there said the music on Fridays is really good now so I've been wanting to check that out.

I may not like people much, but I'm a big softy for all four legers.
Animals in need makes my heart hurt.
It's about time I gave some time up for something I feel so strongly about.

P.S. - Heh, does that mean you thought I was only capable of doing evil?

Not all evil, perhaps mostly evil. ;-) But in a generally polite manner by my experience.

I did my community service there. The absolute saddest thing in the world is the big dog pens. Walking through with the checklist and seeing how long some of those poor bastards had been there, and how infrequently some of them (most of them) ever get walked outside... I don't cry easy, but that place makes it hard not to. Those sad little eyes...

Ugh, I agree with you about the big dog pens area.
The puppies don't make me so sad cause you know most of them will be adopted.
It's the sad old scared doggies that probably wont get a chance to be adopted that ripes my heart apart.
I absolutely HATE people who treat there pets like they are disposable.
They should be the ones who are put to sleep.
