I've been putting off doing laundry. Now that the weather's in that in-between stage of hot-some-days then coolish then sort-of-warm, I can rotate between wearing dresses and pants and capris. That way I don't end up running out of any one thing and I can wash a lot less ( Read more... )

Yeah...yikes. I've had it already and we're only six days into the new school year. :(

And I'm afraid our summer is going...going...GONE. JUST last week Mon. and Tues. it was *90* here. And tonight it's supposed to go down to *39*. Sometimes I HATE the midwest.

When I was in college, I used to 'launder' my underwear in the sink with Woollite (sp?) or a mild detergent. It helped to keep them fresh and wearable in between REAL laundry visits. :)

That's a good idea. :) Sometimes I just throw all the under-stuff in as a small load so I can wash it and leave it to dry when I'm gone...so I get the stuff done quick, I have it to wear, and I don't have to worry about having all the other white laundry in the dryer, wrinkling, when I'm not around to watch it.
