One of my first graders came up to me during journal-writing time the other day. Said first grader is one of about four in my room who has a pretty serious speech problem. It's very difficult to understand much of what he says, though some things come out clear as a bell. Our conversation went like this:

C: How I spell "suck

Yeah...every teacher I tell the story to is first shocked and then shocked into hysterics. :) In it's own way, it's nearly as goood as the "Okay, who FARTED??" story from earlier in the year...
