Well I guess I'm ready to talk about it now. My friend and co-worker was shot in the back by two cowards who then proceeded to laugh all the way back to the their car and drive away. He lay on the street at eight o'clock at night bleeding to death, trying to call his family to beg for help but there was no help for him. He died two hours later ( Read more... )

100% of me is a huge nerd! How about you?v

My grandmother is in the hospital and not doing very well. I'm starting to prepare myself for the worst and give that she's 94, it's a reasonable thing to do. As much as I can prepare myself though, it's still very difficult to contemplate. Of course, everytime the phone rings it freaks me out. I feel like a big pile of blah.

Well we just got back from Costa Rica. What an amazing experience. We flew in a six seater Cessna from the San Jose airport to a private airstrip the hotel owns. That was an intense journey and one I'm not likely to forget in a hurry. The weather was unbelievable between 90 and 100 degrees every day but dry not humid. We stayed in this ( Read more... )

I had a great xmas even though I wasn't with G. He went home for the holidays. We had ours on the 23rd and he got me a wicked digital camera which I love. Got a lot of really nice stuff from my family too. We actually managed to spend a Christmas together without fighting...miracle.

AND I had five whole days off work...JOY TO THE WORLD.

On Monday the phone rang at 6:00 a.m. and it was my bf's mother telling him that his grandmother had passed away. So that sucked. He left on Wednesday to go home and do the funeral thing. I feel so bad for him and his grandmother was a really nice lady. I spent a long time talking to her at his cousin's wedding. I'm glad I got to know her ( Read more... )
