It's Friday! Yay! It's been a really long week. There have been a lot of fun projects at work this week, but there was a big mailout that I pretty much had to do all by myself. Why do I find it immensely annoying that the new updated phone list that was distributed today lists me as an AdminII in the same section as my former boss's employees where I was listed in my old job? AWC Weekend
This past weekend was the Arkansas Writers Conference at the Holiday Inn Select in Little Rock. It was a small conference, with mostly local speakers and attendees (no big name writers or agents), but it was really enjoyable. Drove through a heavy rain shower on the way home from looking at the apartment. The sun was shining so brightly that the rain was both sparkling and blinding. As I came to the far edge of the shower, looking behind me, I saw a rainbow. Fanmail! lol
I got fan mail today at work. lol. Ok, not exactly. The elementary school where we did a career day presentation last week (and I got to take photos) had the students write thankyou letters to us.
