That time in canon, you just know that Sam was feeling this kind of terrified panic and you illustrated it beautifully. The language in this was gorgeous and so in character for both of them. I loved it.

Yeah, that's one of my absolute favorite things about S3, just how much of that you get to see in Sam. He doesn't say a lot, but I feel like you can completely feel that panic there, just in the way he looks at Dean sometimes. ;_;

This is beautiful, a glimpse into Sam's headspace that rings very true. Sam's determination rings true too, to save Dean and to hang onto this happiness that he's only just found, finally.

Sam looks down at his hand like he has no idea what to do with it, like part of him honestly isn’t sure he’s going to wash it off. Stuff like this has been happening all the time lately, stupid little nothing moments that shouldn’t mean anything at all, but that hit him like a punch in the gut sometimes when he thinks about Dean being gone.
