Today I was coming back from Taco Bell with food and a drink in one hand walking back to my dorm, and I stop to pick up the mail from my mailbox so then I'm juggling all those papers, too. And I go to open the door to the staircase and my hands are full, of course, so I attempt to pull on the handle with my pinky. Of course, this door is a fire ( Read more... )

xD if it makes you feel any better, I am known as that girl who breaks things at the cafeteria, now. [which is to say i am also very bad at handling lots of things] but i'm ALSO known as "that girl who is really good at [the] KM [cleaning shift]" so they don't fire me.

Yay for clumsiness! :D Actually, I'm just glad that I've only been cutting myself lately and not breaking bones or some other such injury that falls under the MUCH WORSE category. *nods*

Amazing.

I was trying to get a broken lightbulb out of my study lamp the other day, when I somehow cut my right index finger on a wire, and it didn't bleed for a while, so I sort of ignored it. Then suddenly it started bleeding, and quite intensely (for a minor finger cut), and I got blood on several things, and had to use many of my roommate's bandaids.

The worst thing was, I was holding Jessica's turtle (whose name, incidentally, is Yurtle) right before cutting my finger, so later I was afraid that I'd get salmonella or something, and turn into a salmon.

Haha. Everytime I hear/see you use the word "salmonella" I think of your poor future daughter. :P

Oh dear. I think that you deserve congratulations for getting through all that with only a cut on your finger! Usually I try to open doors with my elbow when my hands are full, but it doesn't work well and most often results in me trying to fit everything in one hand or putting something down. At least it would be harder to cut your elbow, I suppose. In any case, good job with all of that. It's especially impressive that you managed to get to the taco and quesadilla while they were still warm! I hereby deem you Ready for Life!

Oh GOOD. I'm glad I've been officially deemed Ready for Life now. That would really suck otherwise.

Also, I have cut my elbow before. On a ruler. PWNED.

You need more durable skin... There has to be some sort of lotion or cream for that, eh?
