Doggie Trials and Tribulations

So about a week ago Joe and I came back from the rock climbing gym to discover a wet spot on the carpet. Oh boy. This came after a grueling weekend that Joe and I dubbed the Szechuan Typhoon Weekend From Hell. The Szechuan part comes from the leftover Chinese food that Joe brought home to give to the dogs as a special treat. The Typhoon part ( Read more... )

Tango spoiled??!! No way!!!

Elouise had major separation when we first got her to CA. She would constantly pee in the house. We also followed the internets advice and it worked! Now she just pees in the house when she is being lazy and doesn't feel like going outside!

Yes, that's pretty much what the first two months of parenthood is like. And the every two hours walk? That's pretty much potty training. Sounds like you're having a training run for parenthood.

I'm afraid then. If that was just a training run... the real thing might turn me into a lunatic.

Also, I didn't know you had a lj account. You should blog more. I'm gonna friend you.

:P

I am the world's worst blogger. All good intentions with no follow through. Plus, with my job, if I say anything untoward, as I wont to do, it could be used against us by many many angry conservatives... So I mostly keep my yap shut in any public discourse...

Hello Anami,
I have been thinking about the four of you for days and finally checked your blog to see how things are going. Sounds like you are keeping busy and the dogs are having fun.
We are just thawing out from a major snow storm last week. We had @10 inches accumulate. Lake Monroe is totally frozen over and now it is in the 50s! Just your typical Indiana weather.
Tom and I are beginning to plan our summer vacation, I'll let you know if we decide on SF.

Wow, I totally don't miss the snow. I'm getting quite accustomed to the weather out here. I'm training for a marathon that takes place in May (http://www.theave.org/) and the dogs and I have enjoyed running in 65 degrees and sunshine even though it's early Feb. I love it.

I hope you and Tom are doing well. If you do decide on SF, we'll have to meet up and take the dogs to the beach or on a hike. The beach is probably the only thing they love more than running. :)
