I just realized a few details.

2300 words a day is far more than is actually needed. 1670, it works out to, 1670 words a day are necessary to complete this project within November.

Also, the goal is not 40,000 words. Its 50,000 words.

I've decided not to post my NaNoWriMo publicly. I'll be posting friends only to a specific list of people, which for right now is the people who've specifically said they're curious to read what I'm writing. I've been writing in a japanese place near home, and on the skytrain. I have a little rust coloured red shoulder bag that I keep my pocket journal in, and every time I have a few minutes I sit down and write about juice bottles and lights in people's houses. I've made a decision that I'll be participating in National Novel Writing Month. 40,000 words in the month of September, which works out to roughly 2300 words a day. I've been practicing, and so far it hasn't been difficult to get it all down on a page. I haven't ramped up to 2300 however, that will be the challenge ( Read more... )
