I saw an interview with Street Chant before the Big Day Out this year, and struck both by the vitality of their punk aesthetic and their youth. They remind me a lot of She's Insane, among other NZ bands of the 90s. I picked up the digital version of Amanda Palmer's latest album Amanda Palmer Goes Down Under this morning. It's a real mix. Some absolute gold, and a lot of "meh".
