As this went on, and the alleged "wife" got involved, I realized she was using a translator, so I began saying things that I knew were nonsense and would translate even stranger.

Wow. I had never actually seen the movie before. I had heard about it and seen Tim Burton's ""Ed Wood", but I never saw the actual movie. It is hysterically bad. Really funny--it's day and night in the same scene, and one actor keeps gesturing with his loaded gun and Bela Lagosi gets replaced with a whole other guy in the middle. A fairly interesting month so far.  
First, my hours and pay got cut pretty badly.
*I met a cute girl and have had a few dates with her and am seeing her again tonight for dinner
*I met a different girl last night and drank at MiMi's too late on a weeknight and have a hangover today

It's one of those nights that being alone sucks. I like rain and thunder at night like this, but it really makes me wish I had someone with me in bed or on the sofa. OK, just in general, I'm not that much of a geek. I have never seen all the Star Wars movies, or all the episodes of Star Trek. I own no comic books. In fact, I know so little about the whole geeky thing, I have run out of other geek cliches.

So, yep, it is now official---I lose 1 fourth of my pay and hours. That is on top of the % that Sally Mae is stealing from every paycheck. Is what is left enough to pay rent, electricity, phone and buy groceries? No.

So somebody should buy me some dinner and drinks and stuff.

It looks like my hours are probably--almost definitely--going to be cut, and therefore my pay. Long meeting just ended. I am really not sure how bad the cut will be or if I will be able to keep paying my rent ( Read more... )
