Housing again
So maybe a fix up house is in order, granted doing that will deprive me of much free time and I will probably be devoting full weekends to it, but isn't that the sort of all-consuming action I crave? So the last post I meant to do yesterday, but for some reason it didn't make it in until this morning. Anyway, the apartment sucked, which shouldn't have been surprising...it was totally tiny. Perhaps there's something else out there for me.... -
Planning for the future
I'm going to look at an apartment tonight which some people think is in a bad area. I've decided that I won't condemn it until I get to see it. Maybe it's too good to be true, but for 550 with a garage I have to at least look at it. The sad thing is that they won't allow pets, but I could live with that maybe. -

Soo...yes, I'm listening to music and it's pretty awesome, because this band is pretty cool(techno). I had a pretty good work day, other than wasting 2 hours of my life in a meeting about something coming to work soon(ish) that just makes no sense to me, but because some PhD person said it, it must be good. I am back to being in PA....which is awesome for me. I love being here, my brother and I drinking and hanging out. He suggests that I should live in philly...
There aren't really many tech jobs here though, I could probably get one if I tried, because I'm just like that.... -
A bit techy
I'm going to install linux on my phone. There is a project on the web that will allow me to install linux and then maybe if I tweak things so that it works properly, then I can finally do everything I want to on this thing...

Or not? waiting 4 hours really isn't my style, so rather than do that I figure I'll get my brother to pick me up and we can hang out for some of that time... -
Crazyness
I found out today that the motorcycle class I want to take is only 3 days long(basically a weekend). With the amount of money I could potentially spend, would it be worth it to dump 3 months of savings into that(and a high def TV probably)? I should limit it to one or the other, and I don't see myself needing the TV. -
Some theorizing
What would life be like if you were told that you only had one year to live? Would you continue to go to work everyday? would you instead try new things with fervor? Would you consider your year a gift or a curse?
