It's a beautiful Saturday morning, and I have just finished giving my novel it's final read through. It still needs some major editing, which my mom and I are working on, but basically, it's done. Shortly (as soon as I find that nonexistant well of energy) I will peel myself off the couch and go to Kinkos to print out two copies, one for myself and

It's a young adult novel about a girl, Gwen, who's slated to become High Priestess of this group called the Gaia Order. She was born to fill the position, and she can change anything with her words. When she talks, things literally happen. As High Priestess, she will keep the world turning simply by talking. She will also live a life of solitude. She was born with the power and lives with her parents until she's 18. She's resigned to her fate until she meets a boy one day, tells him to get lost, and he doesn't do what she says. The rest of the story is about how Gwen and Ellis figure out his power and their roles in the world. That's not a very good description, but that's essentially it. Thanks for your offer, I really appreciate it. I'm definitely going to keep all methods of publishing in mind while I pursue this. I'm going to wait and see what my friend says before I take any more steps, you know?
