Why is it that cats think that a newspaper that you're trying to read makes the most comfy bed?

I'm doing an icon meme as I have got to get these fic ideas out of my head. What happened? You know, I only just realised this morning that I can set up Flickr to allow me to post photos straight to LiveJournal from there; slow much? Train Trips and Memes
Finally went on the road train trip that a friend and I had been discussing for a while. It failed at Cambridge as we got to the platform as the next train we were planning to get was pulling away; still, three cities in one day isn't too bad. Why am I watching a documentary on the Travel Channel about the Saga Pearl II? Really, I would have thought I see enough of ships not to need to watch about them on TV (although it's doing the Norwegian Fjords and Bergen does look a lot more interesting that I had imagined ( Read more... ) -
Musing whilst Cleaning
Two and a half weeks until I head back to work; I wish it was sooner. I've now reached the point where I'm completely broke and rather bored of being stuck in the same places. Admittedly, I also have the normal opposite complaint of wishing I wasn't going so soon - I do miss the cats, reliable internet, and my library (when you own 500+ books it's ( Read more... )
