The spring has come at last, though I'm still wearing my coat in the morning because it's been in the high 40s when I leave the house. Other than that everything is green and pretty, and it's hard to stay indoors. Yesterday morning I got soaked in a sudden squall on my bike ride to the train station and had to wrangle my slippery bike up into the train car. Fortunately I had a spare skirt - one that I'd made and was finishing up the pockets on. May 18, 2012I am excited for summer. After that heat wave back in April that killed almost all of my lettuce seedlings the weather in my little seaside town out on the end of the peninsula has been lovely.
